Who we are

Ledgera Inc. operates ledgerainc.caand its subdomains (the “Service”). We build Canadian-hosted crypto-tax software for individuals, accountants, and CPA firms. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the waitlist and, eventually, the product itself:

• Email address — provided when you join the waitlist. Used to send you launch updates and onboarding communications.
• Waitlist metadata — the plan tier you expressed interest in and the timestamp of signup. Not sold or shared.
• Basic analytics — page-view counts via Plausible (self-hosted at analytics.ledgerainc.ca), cookieless and GDPR-compliant by design. No user-level tracking.

How we use your information

Your email is used solely to:

• Send launch announcements and early-access invitations.
• Respond to support or inquiry messages you initiate.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

Data retention

Waitlist signups are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing hello@ledgerainc.ca.

Canadian data residency

All data is stored and processed on servers located in Canada. We do not transfer personal information outside Canada. Our infrastructure is subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data.
